• Ford Fiesta Hatchback- Ford has finally decided to launch the Ford Fiesta Hatchback Car which is priced between Rs. 5 Lakhs to Rs 6 Lakhs. It gives an option of 1.4-litre petrol, 1.2-litre petrol, 1.6-diesel, and 1.4-litre diesel as alternatives.

• Honda Jazz- This is a car which made lot of news when it was launched but its high price caused its downfall. It costs around Rs 6.5 Lakhs to Rs 8 Lakhs. It has an engine of 1.2 litre with 77 bhp. It is very spacious and a comfortable vehicle to ride on. We hope that Honda brings in a price correction in 2010 and then this car car be seen rolling on the Indian roads in each corner.

• Fiat Grande Punto- It has a very good interior designed by Italian designer Giugiaro. It has both versions diesel and petrol. It comes with a price tag between Rs 4.5 Lakhs to Rs 6 Lakhs. With this car Fiat is back in India with a bang !!
  

• Nissan Micra- Nissan Micra is going to be the next "Big" Small Car Launch in the month of May 2010. Nissan Micra Car will come with a 1.2 Liter petrol engine and a 1.5 Liter diesel engine. Both these engine varitants will sport 5 speed manual transmission & the mileage is expected to be around 25 Kmpl.

Hyundai i10- Hyundai i10 has been bestselling car for the Hyundai in the recent times. The Car is priced around INR 4 Lakh with top model costing INR 5.5 Lakhs. Hyundai i10 has swung the fortune in favour of Hyundai India after the grand success of popular Hyundai Santro Car. We might expect a new i10 variant of Hyundai i10 in the last 2010.

Chevrolet Impala SS (7th generation)

The 7th generation of the Impala was produced from 1994 through 1996. These Impala SS's were muscle sedans designed for people who needed speed and lots of interior space and room in the trunk. These cars were related to the Chevrolet Caprice police package, but with an upgraded LT1 engine. Although the transmissions on the Impala SS were not robust enough to handle all the power from the engine, many owners have since swapped them out for something more performance-oriented.

Subaru Forester 2.5XT

Ritz versus i10

Maruti Ritz is a very cool and nice car but, I do not feel that Maruti Ritz has given a serious blow to Hyundai i10, which is enjoying good overwhelming sales up until now.

Previously people were thinking that Ritz will be like Honda Jazz, Hyundai i20, Volkswagen Polo, and Fiat Punto, but when Ritz was launched in April 2009, they were surprised to see that Ritz is just targeting Hyundai i10 and this seems really interesting, as i10 is selling like some hot-cake up until now. Maruti Ritz is a bit smaller than Maruti Swift but it is bigger than i10 against which the Maruti Company had actually placed it.

Cricket

Chennai created history of sorts when they outbid its competitors to have Mahendra Singh Dhoni in their ranks during the first IPL auction. The then highest paid star of the league and the current captain of the Indian team was chosen as the skipper for the side. Owned by India Cements, the franchise has added star value in former cricketer Kris Srikkanth and South Indian actor Vijay who were appointed as brand ambassadors. The team`s name was chosen as a tribute to the rulers of the golden era of Tamil culture. The MA Chidambaram Stadium is their home ground.
